This Creamy Garlic and Basil Chicken Recipe is easy to make and perfect for busy weeknights when you don’t have a lot of time.
Having three boys is such a joy, but it has its challenges! For example, finding time to make tasty meals every night can definitely be difficult. Between taking them to school and other activities, it can be hard to find time. That is why I love coming up with quick and easy recipes that you can make in a hurry like this creamy garlic and basil chicken.
One reason why making fresh meals every night can be hard is all of the prep work. Cutting onions and chopping garlic and other herbs can make a mess and take a long time. Fortunately, there is a solution! I recently discovered Dorot Gardens Fresh Frozen Portion Controlled Garlic and Herbs.

This product is seriously the coolest! They take the garlic and herbs fresh from the field, flash freeze them into their convenient trays within 90 minutes of harvest, and have a two year shelf-life. It can be hard to get fresh herbs during the winter, but with Dorot Gardens, I can have them year-round.
For this recipe, I used the crushed garlic and chopped basil variety. All I had to do was toss in a cube of each to the creamy sauce and they added the perfect amount of flavor.
I like to serve this recipe with farfalle (bowtie) pasta. The creamy sauce goes perfectly with the freshly cooked pasta and makes for an easy meal for any night of the week.
The great thing about this, is that you can make it in thirty minutes or less. While it is cooking, you can throw together a quick salad and you will have a tasty, fresh meal that your whole family will love.
