My #AllDayLook with Neutrogena products!

I love makeup, and for the past few years I have been trying to perfect this art, and even though I love to do in-depth, slightly complicated looks, it is a challenge to do something like that every day, because being a mom of two very active little boys, there is a never ending list of things to do during the day. For that reason, saving time is so important to me. That is why I want to share my own #AllDayLook with all of you, which was inspired by Hayden Pantierre’s All Day Beauty videos on Neutrogena’s Youtube page (see below for video).  I have to say that I love Neutrogena makeup and it is definitely one of my favorite brands!

A few months ago I decided that I wanted to start my own Youtube channel where I could share my makeup and beauty tips, because, like I said before, I love makeup and I love sharing my different looks. Unfortunately, my attempt was not a success, because I just didn’t have enough time to dedicate to making high quality, edited videos. So, even though I put that project aside for the time being, I did have the opportunity to upload three videos (yay!). Through that experience, I was able to try out many different brands and types of makeup, and Neutrogena was definitely at the top of my list.

Being a full-time mom doesn’t leave me with very much time during the day to dress up and put on my makeup, but being a woman, of course I like to look presentable everywhere I go, which is why these Neutrogena products have been a life saver for me – they save me time and they are long lasting, which allows me to maintain my “look” all day long. Maybe you are asking how Neutrogena helps me to achieve this #AllDayLook? Well, now I want to show you my daily makeup routine which only takes me about 10 minutes along with a few beauty tips on how to stay looking radiant all day long.

Step 1. After washing your face and moisturizing it with Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture with sunscreen SPF 15, carefully dab on the long lasting Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20. The purpose of this is so that the product blends in with your skin, leaving a more natural look. It’s a common mistake to roughly spread makeup onto our skin, which makes for a more unnatural finish and which also increases the risk that your makeup will start running and coming off during the day. I recommend using a makeup brush, a sponge, or even your own clean hands to gently rub it in. 

Step 2. Apply the Neutrogena Shine Control Powder. This will seal the liquid makeup and it also helps to control excess shine. This is a product that you definitely want to keep in your makeup kit and your purse during the day so that you can touch up your makeup when necessary. Once again, apply it genly with your brush or sponge, being careful not to drag it along your skin. 🙂

Step 3. Gently apply your eyeliner right up against the edge of your eyelashes for a softer look during the day; then if you have a date or another important appointment later on in the day, you can easily apply a thicker line which will create a more intense, elaborate look. Don’t forget to also apply a good amount of Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara to finish off your eyes.

Step 4. Finish your overall look by adding a small amount of blush to your cheeks to create a more natural appearance, and then add your favorite lipstick. I love to use Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick, which is great because not only does it moisturize your lips throughout the day, but it creates such a radiant look and is available in a variety of different colors. 

Now, after ten minutes or so you are ready to take on the day!

I was able to get all of these products at Target in the beauty and cosmetics sections at very reasonable prices!
