This Passion Fruit Mocktail Recipe is a perfect option for people that don’t drink alcohol, and will be a hit at your BBQ this Spring.
Every year around this time, as we begin to dig out from under the snow, I get excited for Spring and all of the fun recipes that come along with it. We love grilling outside, and every good BBQ has to have good drinks as well. Personally, we do not drink alcohol. That said, we can still enjoy some delicious “mocktails” from time to time.
In order to have a good mocktail, you have to have a good base drink. I recently discovered Welch’s Refrigerated Cocktails, and they are a perfect option! They have multiple varieties, like Passion Fruit and Dragon Fruit Mango. They have a great taste and are so refreshing on their own. Adding a few extra ingredients, though, makes them even better!
For this Passion Fruit Mocktail recipe, I used the Passion Fruit flavor of Welch’s Refrigerated Cocktails. To it, I added some lime juice, lemon-lime soda, and a few fresh blueberries. It only took me a couple of minutes to mix it together, and it was so tasty!
I picked this up at my local grocery store, but you can find out where they sell it near you by clicking here. Although I used the Passion Fruit flavor, the possibilities are virtually endless. The basic recipe for the mocktail is fruit juice, a carbonated beverage, and fresh fruit.
My husband wasn’t sure if he would like it, but even he was asking for more after taking one sip. Since we are just now starting to get to the time of year where we can enjoy spending time outside, I am sure that we will be making this again soon.
